Clara loves playing kickball and also stargazing from her backyard treehouse. Wishing to catch the moon like a ball, the brave young girl jumps up, soaring through the night sky. When animal constellations commit to the sweet six-year-old's exciting game, the team of friends are in for a thrilling competition.
A host of animals and mythical creatures split into two teams and have a blast kicking the ball as far as they can and running bases turn after turn. And when it's a tie, the kicking team chooses an unexpected player to try for the win.

I’m a children's book author who crafts captivating stories with vibrant illustrations, sparking imagination and fostering a love for reading. 1. I love reading great novels, non-fiction narratives, Christian non-fiction, and (of course) other children’s picture books. I also all things chocolate and a good glass of white wine.
2. I write on Substack, currently using the platform to chronicle our family’s journey with our daughter with special needs. Check it out HERE!

In addition to writing books, I create and sell sensory play sets, educational activities, vintage books and kids items, and teacher tools. All of us as parents/caregivers need ways to keep kids engaged and balanced in their use of technology, right? What a delightful story. Clara is a little girl determined to play with the moon she so loves...With beautiful illustrations, this story is a very clever way to teach children about some of the more visibly discerning constellations and get them interested in astronomy or star-gazing. My children and I LOVE this book! It takes your child on a playful journey through the constellations with the adorable and imaginative Clara. Because who doesn't want to fly up to the sky and hug the moon?! The illustrations are beautiful as well and there is a great educational page at the end with the constellations included in the book. A definite must-read!
